The global launch of Avatars marks the first step in WhatsApp’s journey into the metaverse, allowing their 2 billion users to represent themselves and communicate with their favorite people in a new, more expressive way.
Whatsapp enlisted the unstoppable Indian-American artist Raja Kumari and her new song “The Don” to help them kick off the campaign. The film is part of a global rollout in India, Brazil, and the UK that features local artists across social, OOH, and a media partnership with Hypebeast.
